What it is
GI channels are galvanised iron sections that make the hidden frame of a false ceiling or a drywall. Perimeter channels run along the walls, intermediate channels hang from the slab and ceiling sections carry the boards. The zinc coating keeps the steel from rusting, so the frame stays true for the life of the ceiling.
